The Coast HL45 is a wide flood angle head torch and offers a maximum output of 400 lumens on the high setting from a single high power LED as well as a red LED output.
Red light preserves your natural night vision and it is useful for reading in the dark, animal observation, astronomy and much more. The red light is operated with a separate button to the white light so you won't ruin your night vision with the white light.
The button for the red light is located on the underside of the head torch and turns the red light on/off with each press. The button for the white light is on top of the torch and you press once to turn the light on in high, twice for low and a third press will turn the light off.
Coast has equipped the HL45 with a comfortable head strap with a top band for extra security and it is hard hat compatible with the included helmet clips. The light itself features a hinged attachment system for directional lighting and it is both impact and water-resistant, enabling you to use it for many varied tasks.
The flood beam is great for covering wide areas for up close work and can throw the beam 28 metres distance.
